ABOUT ME
My name is Noel Hatherall, born 1980 in Oxford, England. I am married to my wonderful wife Lauren, who is currently a Family Medicine Resident at Baylor, Scott and White in Temple, Texas. In May 2021 we welcomed Molly Ann Kathleen Hatherall to our family.
Born in Oxford, I grew up in Gloucester, England with my parents and brothers (older brother Chris, a professional actor, and younger brother Peter, electrician and business owner). My parents still reside in Gloucester, whilst I moved to San Antonio in January 2007. During my time in Texas I have worked with SA United Soccer Club, World Wide Soccer Pro Soccer Coaching, and currently Classics Elite Soccer Academy.

My first experiences of leadership work in youth sport was as a coach at 16 years old in Gloucester. From there I have worked in both the UK and USA as a volunteer and professional coach, as well as coaching on international trips such as the Gothia Cup - Youth World Cup tournament in Sweden. I have also undertaken coaching roles with Arsenal FC Regional Soccer Schools and Forest Green Rovers FC Youth Academy.

Outside of sports and soccer coaching I have also managed 80-acre private school sports facilities including turf, astro pitch, athletic track and tennis rentals.

My previous roles in San Antonio youth soccer have included General Manager of World Wide Soccer, delivering soccer training camps and services to over 800 players per year.

Most recently I was the Director of Youth Development at San Antonio United Soccer Club, responsible for directing 17 coaching and administrative staff, and for leading the development of 450+ players per year.
My soccer coaching expertise lies in a niche working with the U6-U12 players, and my passion is developing intelligent and technical players who are able to learn and adapt to a wide range of tactical situations and roles as they enter U13 11v11 soccer. I am committed to developing the San Antonio soccer community by creating an environment of excellence and pursuing the highest standards of soccer training and performance.
